We’re calling on our partners, family, and friends to rally their networks in support of The Gala Pride & Diversity Center. Our Legacy:

Founded in 1994: Originally known as GALA (Gay and Lesbian Alliance), The Gala Pride & Diversity Center has been a cornerstone for the LGBTQIA2S+ community for 30 years.
Pride in SLO: In 1996, we established the first Pride Center in SLO County, and in 1997, we held our inaugural Pride celebration, Pride in the Plaza.
Growth & Impact: Over three decades, we’ve expanded our reach with peer and professional-led groups, youth activities, social opportunities, and more.

Our Vision for the Future:

Central Coast Pride: In 2024, we restructured SLO Pride to Central Coast Pride to be more inclusive and far-reaching. This year, we had our most impactful Pride season yet, with new community partnerships like Pride by the Sea (Cambria), Atascadero Pride (the first-ever full-day, all-ages Pride event in the area), and Queerwood (Los Osos).
Volunteer Power: Hundreds of volunteers contributed countless hours of energy and support. And we’re just getting started!

One-time Donation: Provide a one-time donation to any of our individual fundraisers or the GALA directly.
Recurring Donation: Become a regular donor/sponsor of The GALA Pride & Diversity Center to support our community year round.
