WE BELIEVE that all children deserve spaces to feel seen, supported and like they can be themselves.
The Gala Pride and Diversity Center Youth Programs team exists to create safe and affirming spaces where local LGBTQ+ youth can find peace, connect with other youth and supportive adults, and just enjoy being kids.
We offer free social and support groups across SLO County, as well as some of the biggest queer youth joy events of the year - like PRIDE PROM! Our groups are open to all LGBTQIA+ middle and high-school aged youth and every group is supervised by a team of background-checked and trained volunteers. We even have special events for younger kiddos and their families! 🌈
Our groups offer kids a place to be themselves, connect with other youth and meet adults who reflect their identities. We have pizza and snacks, hang out and play games!
